"Wait... What?? You sell 'fake diplomas' on the Internet??"

So how did all this start?

Well... I have been in the web design, graphic design and printing business before I was probably even technically allowed to be legally employed. Haha, and NO, I don't work in a "sweat shop". This is an American owned business and all of the products we produce and sell are American made. I started off in my teenage years just designing websites for fun but by the time I was in college, it developed into a full-blown business.

Somewhere during my college years - after gaining access to some very expensive software and printing equipment - I was just screwing around one night, trying to new stuff out and thought "Hey, let's see if I can make a diploma". I literally think the first one was a Master's Degree in "Underwater Basket Weaving". It actually came out well. Very well. I had to frame it and hang it on the wall of my home office.... and then over the coming months, just as I would have friends hanging out, they would see it, do a double take, just look confused, I would tell them "HaHa. I made that. It's not real." and they would be like "OMG... That is AWESOME.".... and then their very next question would be "So... could you make me one that says [x]. I will seriously pay you." After this happened a few times, that got my brain thinking.... I wonder if I built a website, how many other people would want these too?

... and that gave birth to Cheaper-than-Tuition.com.

Since then, I have kind of become a serial entrepreneur and have created a lot of different online (and offline) businesses over the years but Cheaper-than-Tuition is really one of the ones that I have just kept going because I seem to really have a skill for it and especially because my customers GENUINELY seem to love... It's the only business I have where customers I've never met in person will mail me "Thank You" cards. 

We genuinely just do this for fun and hope other people get a lot of fun out of them as well. These days, we DO make some very authentic, realistic looking diplomas and transcripts but just keep in mind... "novelty use only". Use them for laughs. Use them for gag gifts.
